BiotechMarine, explorer of the oceans, selects and collects marine plants on
special Earth oceans, privileged by the purity and specificity of their ecosystems:

(France), to tropical hot waters and sub-antartic polar waters.
Bréhat Archipelago, which houses an exceptional underwater flora, is one of the
most remarkable sites. This richness is due to the purity and quality of its waters,
as well as the existence of a hot current: the Gulf Stream. In this marine oasis,
clearings succeed to woods and large submarine forests, where an infinite variety
of brown, red and green seaweeds is living. In these landscapes of a sumptuous
beauty, but also a frightening hostility due to the importance of tide phenomenon,
seaweeds developed various adaptation strategies thanks to a complete biological
arsenal. Today, this exceptional life power is developed in the new industry of
marine biotechnologies.
